REPORT: LIVERPOOL CAN SIGN £605M PLAYER FOR £34.6M, OFFER REPORTEDLY MADE

It’s rumored that Marco Asensio will join Liverpool this summer.

The Reds have reportedly already submitted a signing bid for the Real Madrid winger, according to Deportes Cope.

According to reports, the Spanish powerhouses, who defeated Liverpool in the Champions League final last month, have chosen to offload the Spain international.

The Blancos would rather sell Asensio this summer than risk losing him for free next summer when his contract at the Bernabeu expires, with a release clause of approximately £605 million [€700 million] [AS].

Additionally, Cuatro in Spain claims that Liverpool might acquire the player for about £34 million.

According to the source, that is Real’s maximum asking price, and the Spanish attacker himself wants to join a “top-level” European team, which may rule out Arsenal because they do not play Champions League games.
This summer, Liverpool added three players: Fabio Carvalho, Darwin Nunez, and Calvin Ramsay.

Although none of those are wide players, Jurgen Klopp may be looking for one.

That’s because Takumi Minamino, who left Kirkby on Tuesday along with Sadio Mane, is the second winger the Anfield team has lost this summer.

The question is whether Liverpool will spend an additional £34 million to sign Asensio.

Given his age and skill set, he doesn’t appear to be a player in the mold of Klopp.
