Pope Franz said: In a lengthy interview with Univision, Pope Francis questioned the morality of abortion in, stating that his position on the issue was “non-negotiable.

“Is it fair to take a human life to solve a problem? whatever it is Is it fair to hire an assassin to take a human life?” Franz asked.

Directly responding to pro-choice views among Catholics, Francis warned that clergy should not get too involved in politics, but said pro- Choice Catholics like Biden have an “incoherence,” an inconsistent and contradictory view.

I’ll leave it to [President Biden’s] conscience and let him talk to his bishop, his pastor, his minister about this inconsistency,” Francis said of Biden. After the Supreme Court Roe v. Wade, Biden criticized the decision as an “extreme” decision and a miscarriage of justice.

What did Francis say earlier? The problem of pro-abortion Catholic politicians came to a head two months after Archbishop Salvatore J.Cordileone banned House Speaker Nancy Pelosi from receiving Holy Communion in her home parish because she supports abortion.

Last September, the Pope addressed the issue, specifically stating that Holy Communion was reserved for members of the Church “in the congregation” and those pro-abortion were “outside the congregation. That is theology, said Francis.

“So if you are not in the church, you cannot receive communion. Outside the Church: Excommunicated is a harsh word, but they don’t belong in the church because they’re not baptized or because they’re far from it.

Those who are not in fellowship cannot receive Communion because they are outside of fellowship,” he explained. “It is not punishment: community is connected to community.

However, neither the Catholic bishop in Washington, D. nor the bishop of Biden’s home church in Delaware has forbidden him to receive communion.
