Following his departure from Manchester United, Paul Pogba is shown in a social media video reportedly refusing to sign a team shirt.

After six years at United, the 29-year-six-year old’s stay ultimately came to an end last month when his contract with the team expired. The midfielder is now a free agent. A decade after leaving United and signing for Juventus, Pogba is in Turin in preparation for his return to the Italian club. The French international is scheduled to have a medical there.

Following his medical examinations, the World Cup winner signed autographs for Juventus supporters while being escorted by his agent, Rafaela Pimenta. But when a United shirt was put in front of him, he appeared to decline to sign it.
In a widely shared internet video, the Frenchman signs shirts before appearing to wave his finger and exclaim, “No,” as a Manchester United jersey is passed in his direction.

The midfielder said in a clip from Pogba’s Amazon Prime documentary, “The Pogumentary,” that he intended to illustrate that Manchester United had erred by not giving him the terms he wanted to stay.

My goal is to prove to Manchester that waiting to offer me a contract was a mistake, he stated. And to convince other teams that Manchester erred by declining to sign me to a contract.

Although Pogba divided opinion during his time at United, it is generally agreed that he did not live up to his astronomical price tag because the last five of his six seasons at the team ended without a trophy. He participated in 233 games for United in total, scoring 39 goals.
