Manchester United and Thomas Strakoshka have reached a personal agreement on the parameters of the signing.

According to @mufcMPB, who had already tweeted the information.

The unsigned player is presently “training independently in Rome” and is “awaiting the go-ahead” to leave for his physical.

The goalie might join the United team as early as July 15th, during their preseason tour’s stop in Melbourne, according to a tweet.

Following the loan transfer of Dean Henderson to Nottingham Forest earlier this month, Strakoshka is anticipated to replace David De Gea as United’s backup goalkeeper, as The People’s Person reported earlier this week.

Strakoshka, who just departed SS Lazio, has played in 164 Serie A games and had 48 shutouts.
Even if he has not been able to regain the quality of his earlier years, the 27-year-old still has plenty of time to reach his full potential. Last term, he made 23 appearances.

Almost throughout his whole Biancocelesti career, Strakoshka has been Lazio’s unquestionable first choice, until Covid-19 troubles cost him his spot in the 2020–21 season.

Strakoshka won medals for two Coppa Italias and Supercoppa Italianas apiece while he was living in Rome.

At Old Trafford, Manchester United supporters will be hoping he can add to his collection of medals.
