Find out how you can watch Erik ten Hag’s first game in charge
The opening match of Manchester United’s Tour 2022 will take place on Tuesday, July 12, at Bangkok’s Rajamangala Stadium against our longtime adversaries Liverpool.
The first of four teams we’ll play on the tour, which also takes us to Australia for games in Melbourne and Perth, is Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
However, let’s start off by giving you the dirt on everything you need to know for Tuesday.
AT WHAT TIME DOES IT BEGIN?
The United vs. Liverpool match in Bangkok kicks off at 20:00 local time, or 14:00 BST.
WHAT TO DO TO WATCH UNITED VS. LIVERPOOL
On MUTV*, which is now accessible in the United App and on ManUtd.com, you can watch the match in Thailand on Tuesday live. Make sure to tune in at that time for all the pre-game coverage, including reactions to Erik ten Hag’s first-ever selection of the Reds starting lineup. Coverage begins at 13:00 BST.
Additionally, MUTV subscribers will have first access to the entire match replay as well as the short and extended match highlights. To make sure you’re fully signed up before the game, go to MUTV right away.
LATEST FROM THE UNITED CAMP
In the sweltering Thai capital, Ten Hag’s team has already finished two training sessions as they speed up their physical preparation for the friendly on Tuesday. On Monday, further work will be done and the Reds will participate in an open training session at the stadium in front of supporters, the media, and sponsors.
Ten Hag will hold his first press conference of the new campaign before that, where he will sit down in front of the media. At 10:00 BST, the media briefing will begin, and as always, you can follow everything spoken on our club platforms.
WHO’S IN LIVERPOOL’S SQUAD?
Around a day after we did, on Sunday, the Merseysiders arrived in Thailand. Alisson Becker, Mohamed Salah, and Virgil van Dijk are among the 37 players on Klopp’s traveling roster.
The entire team is listed below:
Fabinho, Firmino, Frauendorf, Gomez, Henderson, Hill, Jones, Jota, Keita, Konate, Mabaya, Matip, Milner, Morton, Mrozek, Norris, Nunez, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Phillips, Robertson, Salah, Thiago, Tsimikas, Van den Berg, Van Dijk, and R. Williams are just a few of the players mentioned.
To watch Tuesday’s game and follow the entire build-up, including exclusive interviews with the players, go to MUTV right away.
